Como ya se ha señalado, lo hacemos en señal de protesta por las múltiples declaraciones de la SGAE afirmando falsamente que las descargas p2p de pelis o canciones son ilegales en España. Asimismo, también protestamos por la colaboración que en esa campaña desinformativa prestan algunos medios de comunicación, incluyendo Telecinco (anuncio contra la piratería de la campaña de Telecinco "12 meses 12 causas"), y Antena 3 TV (haber señalado en sus informativos que las descargas de películas son ilegales).
Pues bien, me satisface comunicaros que esta "cacerolada internauta" ha sido un completo éxito. Un gran número de internautas se han sumado a la iniciativa (probablemente unos 400), afirmando así su derecho legal a la copia privada de películas y música, y rechazando las campañas de criminalización que desgraciadamente sufre el p2p.
Varios participantes en la protesta hemos enviado correos a la SGAE y al Grupo de Delitos Telemáticos de la Guardia Civil, señalando nuestros datos y nuestra participación en la descarga. Lógicamente, si no nos demandan por lo que hemos realizado, quedaría en evidencia la falsa afirmación de la SGAE y otros de que las descargas p2p de películas o canciones son ilegales.
Actualización: Tal y como ha señalado ataulfo, la noticia de nuestra descarga-protesta ha aparecido en "20 minutos", que es posiblemente el diario de más tirada a nivel nacional (más de 2 millones de ejemplares).
